We’ve heard a lot of rumours that Eminem will be releasing a new album sometime in 2013. Looks like we have a few more details now and a better idea of when we can expect to hear new Slim Shady!
Billboard reports that Eminem is deep into the recording process for his upcoming album, and that he’s already started working on a live tour schedule.
“We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013,” Shady Records President Paul Rosenberg said. “He’s been working on it for some time. It’s safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we’re not exactly sure when.” He added, “We’ve got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we’re trying to see what else lines up.”
Rosenberg also said that Em is working on some North American dates as well but wouldn’t elaborate.
So if all goes according to schedule, looks like we’ll be able to enjoy some new music from Marshall Mathers in the summer of 2013!
